On August 23, the 2017 World Robotics Conference with the theme of "Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Creation to Meet the Intelligent Society" grandly opened in Beijing Yichuang International Convention and Exhibition Center. Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Vice Premier Liu Yandong also attended and spoke! During the conference, she also visited the booth of Fosun Pharma's member company U.S.-China Mutual Benefit to meet our star product "Da Vinci" robot!
At 16:40 in the afternoon, Liu Yandong personally visited Fosun Pharma’s U.S.-China Mutual Healthcare booth and listened to the introduction of the “Da Vinci” surgical robot by Liu Yu, Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Fosun Pharma’s Medical Technology Management Committee, and visited the “Da Vinci” surgical robot. Live simulation demonstration of "Da Vinci" surgical robot.
There is no proof, there are pictures to prove!
Let's take a look at the high-resolution images sent from the scene.
Fosun Pharma's member company US-China Mutual Medical Co., Ltd. has been committed to promoting the application of innovative medical devices such as surgical robots in China. At this conference, Fosun Pharma's "Da Vinci" surgical robot, which is the sole agent of Fosun Pharma, made its debut at the World Robotics Conference. It was not only valued by leaders and organizers at all levels, but also sought after by many media and audiences. It is listed as one of the cool exhibits that must be visited by the conference.
At present, the "Da Vinci" surgical robot has been widely used abroad. As of the end of June 2017, the total number of "Da Vinci" robots installed globally has reached 4,023; in 2016 alone, the total number of global "Da Vinci" robot surgeries exceeded 700,000, a year-on-year increase of 15% globally. In my country, robotic surgery is still in its infancy, but it has developed rapidly in recent years. As of the end of July 2017, 65 machines have been installed in mainland China, and more than 55,000 “Da Vinci” surgeries have been completed.
In addition, Liu Yu also reported to Vice Premier Liu Yandong that Fosun Pharma and US Intuitive Surgical have established a joint venture in Shanghai to develop and produce innovative products based on robot-assisted catheter technology for the early diagnosis and treatment of lung cancer.
In December 2016, "Fosun Pharma and Intuitive Surgical, Inc. (Intuitive Surgical, Inc.) Strategic Cooperation Press Conference and Artificial Intelligence Assisted Precision Medicine Summit Forum" was held in Shanghai. Chen Qiyu, Chairman of Fosun Pharma and Intuitive Surgical, Inc. Dr. Gary Guthart, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Medical Device Company, announced the official launch of the strategic cooperation between the two parties in China, and jointly invested 100 million US dollars to establish a joint venture in Shanghai, which mainly develops, produces and sells robot-assisted catheters for the early diagnosis and treatment of lung cancer. Innovative products of technology. This is another innovative product line layout of the United States Intuitive Medical Device Company, a global leader in robot-assisted minimally invasive surgery, in addition to the "Da Vinci" surgical system products. My friends are looking forward to it and look forward to the launch of new products!
