In order to further standardize and promote the management of anti-tuberculosis drugs nationwide, on October 13th, the China Centers for Disease Control and Prevention organized the 2020 National Tuberculosis Drug Management Seminar in Nanchong City, Sichuan Province, from 31 provinces (autonomous regions) across the country. More than 50 anti-tuberculosis drug managers and relevant responsible comrades from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (TBC) of the municipality directly under the Central Government attended the meeting.

　　Zhao Yanlin, Director of the Control Center of China CDC, Xiao Yuming, Deputy Director of the Major Infectious Diseases Division of the Sichuan Provincial Health Commission, Zhang Linglin, Deputy Director of the Sichuan CDC, Chen Chuang, Director of the Tuberculosis Prevention and Control Institute of the Sichuan CDC, China CDC Leaders and experts, including Zhou Lin, director of the Patient Care Department of the Control Center, Zhu Shengguo, director of the Nanchong Municipal Health Commission, and Wang Xin, director of the Nanchong CDC, attended the opening ceremony. The opening ceremony was presided over by Director Zhou Lin. At the opening ceremony, Xiao Yuming, deputy director of the Major Infectious Diseases Department of the Sichuan Provincial Health Commission, and Zhu Shengguo, director of the Nanchong Municipal Health Commission, respectively delivered welcome speeches and introduced the status and progress of tuberculosis prevention and control in Sichuan Province and Nanchong City. In his speech, Director Zhao Yanlin of the Control Center of China CDC emphasized the important role of standardized management of anti-tuberculosis drugs in tuberculosis prevention and treatment planning. He pointed out the current bottlenecks in the varieties, prices, and procurement of anti-tuberculosis drugs in China. Under the current situation, actively think about drug management issues and provide new ideas for the country to formulate drug security related policies in the future. Director Zhao also put forward requirements for the promotion of anti-tuberculosis drug management to the provinces, and do a good job in the prevention and control of TB under the normal prevention and control of the new crown epidemic Do a good job in the final evaluation of the "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan" tuberculosis prevention and control plan, and plan ahead of schedule the "14th Five-Year Plan" national tuberculosis control plan.
